Today is the first anniversary of the death of Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.
A picture of his wife Wambui Collymore was shared by media personality Jeff Koinange, showing Wambui among the ‘boys’ where the late Collymore should have stood.

Wambui has since launched the Bob Collymore Foundation which is holding a series of events to celebrate the life and times of her husband on his death anniversary.
Collymore married his third wife, Wambui Kamiru, on 2 April 2016 in an invitation-only wedding at an upmarket residence in Kitisuru, Nairobi.Collymore had two children during his second marriage, and became stepfather to his wife’s children from her first marriage to Joseph Kinyua.
Collymore travelled to the United Kingdom in October 2017 to receive treatment for acute myeloid leukemia. He returned to Kenya in July 2018 to resume his duties as CEO of Safaricom while undergoing treatment at a number of hospitals. His condition worsened in June 2019, and he died at his home on the morning of 1 July 2019.
