Wambui Kamiru Shares Intimate Details About Grieving Bob Collymore

Wambui Kamiru, the widow of former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, RIP shared about how grief affected her in the past nine months.

“The brain is interesting. My sense of smell has been gone for a number of months. This is linked to grief. Initially it frustrated me. Then I just accepted the process. Today it came back. Albeit abit wonky. E.g. burnt toast smells like rose petals. Still I am grateful. ?”, Wambui wrote in Twitter

Bob Collymore died suddenly on July 2019; his remains was cremated at Kariokor in a private family ceremony.

The company he left behind has been having management challenges occasioned by outages of key services.

MPESA, Data bundles and voice calls have suffered over the past few months under Interim CEO Michael Joseph.

A Kenyan, Peter Ndegwa will be taking over on 1st April 2020.
