Widow worries after sister-in-laws come after her son and inheritance

A widow lady in Kiogutwa sublocation, near Tombe tea factory in Nyamira County, is crying for justice.

All these started after the death of her beloved husband about four years ago.
She has four grown-up children with the last born being 17 years and the only boy child.

The worst came about a week ago when a sister inlaw traveled all the way from Mombasa to gang up with another one who is currently at home after leaving her matrimonial home, to chase her.

On Tuesday the two ladies led a gang of about 10 other people from nyumba Kumi, with crude weapons looking for the widow’s only young boy in the name that he has stood firm to protect her mother from the fights from the sister and father-in-law.

Good luck at the time of the storm the innocent boy was not at home. The group broke into his house and searched everywhere but didn’t find him.

In the alterations between the widow and one of the sister inlaw from Mombasa who was acting as the commander of the raid she said and I quote,”huyu hakuna mahali ataenda, ile vitu nimemfanyia hawezi toboa”. End of quote.

That Tuesday the group left promising to come back again. Due to fear of the unknown and she is alone at night, the widow didn’t sleep in her house. She went to her sister who is married nearby and returned in the morning to see if they came back at night and if there are any damages done. Luckily enough she found no feasible damage.

However, to her disbelief, the group appeared again led by the Mombasa sister inlaw and father inlaw.

The sister inlaw told her and I quote;”ni nyumba gani hizi unaendelea kuchenga hapa na uko na deni yangu hutaki kunilipa? Unafanya nini huku?” End of quote.

After an inquiry from the widow about the dept, I came to learn that the sister inlaw helped the widow to pay school fees of 40k to the 1st born child of the widow who was at kmtc and this is the money she wants back. Good luck the child graduated but she is hustling for a job. Hope she will pay her back when she gets employed.

On Wednesday night the widow again didn’t sleep at her home. After ensuring that his three chickens are back in the house and his only cow is full and at his den, she secured her house with padlocks and left the home wishing that she will find everything intact the following morning.

Mind you for the two days she had not seen her only begotten son, but after inquiry, she was told that he was seen with his cousins. The boy has no phone.

As fate could have it, the widow came home yesterday morning from where she had spend the night to find his only cow lying down unable to stand up.
The cow was expecting and was due next month.

After trying all her efforts to make the cow stand up including beating it,the cow was unable.
She got confused and wondered what could have happened to the cow that was health and eating well overnight!

She called a veterinary who came looked at the cow and said maybe its calcium deficiency. The vet gave the cow two injections ans prescribed some salt that was to be given as a solution orally now that the caw was not eating anything. He also advised that some strong men to be found to try help the cow to stand up,by actually carrying it up Antilles its on its feet and support it even with posts if it’s too week to stand by its feet.

The lady called some neighbours to help as the vet had advised but the task was not possible because the cow was too heavy keeping in mind that it was well fed and only one month to calving.

The task was postponed to today with more men to help.
Bad luck……………

Today friday, the lady woke up very early to check on the cow,but it was long dead.
Now the widow is so stressed and wondering what could have happened to her only cow?

Where is her only boy?

Why is she being told to leave her matrimonial home?

She reported all these on Tuesday when it all started to the area assistant chief but nothing was done. She is now fearing for her life after that of her husband which was mysterious.
