Tanzanian Songstress Zuhura Soud commonly known as Zuchu has attracted a backlash from her countrymen for her lack of fashion sense and the wrong choice of Song during a women convention.

The convention was apparently spearheaded by the Head of State Her Excellency Samia Suluhu.

The video posted by an online media outlet Millard Ayo, shows Zuchu kicking her performance with her runaway hit ‘Sukari’ backed up by dancers.

Angry fans felt the song ‘Sukari’ failed to match the events ethics saying that it was more of a club song.

They further described the song as one that is not suitable for an occasion attended by the head of state.

“Sasa sukari na huu mkutano unahusiana nini? Mnashindwa kuimba nyimbo za maadili kwel kazi” shot ADDO 034.

“The song doesn’t go with the function. Good song in a wrong place,” commented Laureen Lumumba.

Others took offense with her wardrobe malfunction which they felt didn’t match her status, from her wig to her dress code, “Alokushauri hilo wigi kweli ni mwehu. Umekaa kama kijini flani hivi” fired Faiz Islam.

Despite the negativity, some praised the ‘Sukari’ Singer’s performance.

The artist has had a steady rise since being signed up by Diamond Platinumz Wasafi label.

She earned the silver plaque Button from YouTube after clocking 100,000 subscribers within a week becoming the first East African female artist to be feted.
