Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has offered a piece of chilling advice which also serves as a warning to Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina about his role in the community stand in matters concerning the Kedong Ranch.
According to Moses Kuria, Raila only owns a plot in the Orange party.
“Dear Ledama Ole Kina. Si ulifungua mdomo kuongea juu ya Kedong Ranch ? Do you really value your life ? You think Raila Odinga owns ODM ? He owns a plot in ODM. Do you know who has the mother title for ODM ? Keep to your lane. Say ‘Ashe Oleng’ to me later,” Kuria posted.
Earlier this year, some members of Kitet community in Naivasha rejected the 4,000 acres given to them by Kedong Ranch management in July last year.
In a meeting on the 75,000-acre ranch near Suswa town on Friday, the members said four unnamed but well-known people entered into an “illegal” deal with Kedong ranch management to get their ancestral land.
The team led by Robinson Torome, William Sipai and Raphael Kerenke claimed the deal was done without the knowledge more than 30,000 members of the Kitet community.
The land in Naivasha constituency reaches Narok East constituency on the west, and Kajiado West constituency on the east. The Mai Maihu-Narok road passes across the land.
The Maasai are not fence sitters! We are Kenyans and one day we will lead this country! Double standards! No position is reserved for any person. Let’s respect democracy!

Kuria was responding after the Leader of Minority in the Senate James Orengo opposed the election of the Narok senator as the chair of the powerful County Public Accounts and Investment Committee (CPAIC).
In a letter to the Senate Speaker, Orengo said that he would withdraw the membership of the minority from the committee until an appropriate resolution can be made.
“I express and register dissatisfaction with the conduct and outcome of the elections of the leadership of the County Public Accounts and Investments Committee which were purportedly done today. We intend to withdraw our membership from the said committee until an appropriate resolution can be made,” wrote Orengo.
Ole Kina was on Monday May 4 elected to head the county watchdog committee after trouncing Kisii Senator Prof Sam Ongeri who got four votes, against ole Kina’s five.

However, in a rejoinder, Ole Kina said he supported ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s presidential campaign against all odds and that Orengo’s move is questionable. He said he will not be threatened by Orengo’s letter to the Senate, and that he is prepared.
Kiambu County Senator Kimani Wamatangi was picked as vice-chairperson of PAIC. Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika congratulated the two.
Congratulations Sen Ledama @ledamalekina on your election as Chair, CPAIC & Sen Wamatangi @KWamatangi on your election as the Vice-Chair. I have no doubt you will both do a fantastic job in leading this very important committee of the Senate.

Ole Kina gained five votes against his Kisii counterpart Sam Ongeri. The committee has nine members. Mithika Linturi (Meru), Millicent Omanga (nominated) and Sam Ongeri(Kisii) were retained in the committee.
The new members to the committee are Hargura Godana(Marsabit), Irungu Kangata (Murang’a), Ochillo Ayacko (Migori) and Taita Taveta County senator Johnes Mwaruma.
Following his appointment as deputy chair, Wamatangi said he was honoured to have been elected to the committee and that he will discharge his duties without any fear.
I am honoured to have been elected the Vice-Chairperson of the County Public Accounts and Investment Committee (CPAIC), together with Narok Senator Ledama OleKina as Chairperson. We will discharge our duties fearlessly.

ODM must be struggling with a curse of never accepting defeat. So even a battle between members of ODM Ongeri and Ledama ole Kina they can't accept? Hii ni laana. Master of curses @MutahiNgunyi did you?

Ledama Ole Kina came to ODM party because of fate, he was never one. Again Narok County is cosmopolitan; there is a huge Kikuyu, Luo, Kisii and Kipsigis population there. But apparently Ole Kina thinks he is representing the Maasai. (Here he was Faruk Kibet) pic.twitter.com/T667Vpes9s

.@TheODMparty has no issues with senator Ledama Ole Kina. They have issues with the people who fronted him – Tangatanga. We can't have our party affairs decided by people who are partyless.

I urge H. E Mzee Raila to reprimand Orengo for trying to steal Ledama' victory in favor of Kisii Sen. Ongeri. We know governors fear Ole Kina $ are using Orengo to protect their THUGGERY. Rigging an election is not ODM's philosophy. It's not different from what Kibaki did. DECIST pic.twitter.com/O94CfQQeoS
