The 1st edition of Dr. CK Sports day took place at Two Rivers KE sports district, in honor of the late Dr. Chris Kirubi, the Icon of our time.
Among those In Attendance were Centum Real Estate , Centum Investment PLC, Nabo Capital , Tribus TSG, Capital FM Kenya, HACO Industries, @SABIS International School – Runda, and Tier Data Limited

Dr. Kirubi’s was a well-known businessman and industrialist. He invested in manufacturing, services and many more sectors of the Kenyan economy and beyond. He was the Chairman of Haco Industries, CocaCola Nairobi Bottlers, DHL Worldwide Express and of course Centum Investment Company PLC among others.
Dr. Kirubi’s footprints spread well beyond Kenya. He was involved extensively in public policy, philanthropy and advocacy. We particularly remember his work with several African governments.
Dr Kirubi served on the National Economic and Social Council that was responsible for crafting Kenya’s current blueprint for growth, Vision 2030, under President Kibaki.
The Centum Investment Company PLC Board, Management and Staff offer our deep condolences to Dr. Kirubi’s family.
