Two men arrested over car theft at the Thika Road Mall

Two middle aged men were arrested in connection with at the Thika Road Mall in connection with a stolen car. The arrest led to the recoVery of a  bunch of assorted car keys and alarms belonging to different cars. The two robbers, Kelvin Mokaya and Moses Alimlim were nabbed at the mall’s exit barriers as they attempted to escape with a stolen car, but their barrier could not give way for lack of the mandatory parking chip.

it is suspected that the two stole the two car keys when the owner was at the gym wirth the same building. further, the investigating team, beleive that the two are part of a gang that has been stealing vehicles at TRM AND Garden City Malls and stripping in their yard in Kariobangi South. They are still held in custody pending arraignment in court.

According to police investigations, Kenya Bulletin learnt that the two have been posing as gym members but on accessing the changing rooms, they steal cars keys and drive away. The detectives also linked the gang to theft of laptops, smart phones and other items at the TRM.
