Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi

Kenyan blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has rapped off wazungu journalist who come for news in Africa but never acknowledge or pay the source. They should just fook themselves he says, citing a scenario back in 2015 when he responded to western journalist who rely on negative or sensitive stories from Africa for pay rise.

“When these journalists seek for info from us, they never credit- the only thing that we would appreciate if they did but they go ahead, and use the information to get pay rise and that it was dangerous visiting Africa and researching.” Nyakundi said through a post in gscroll.com.

GSCROLL is a brand new app by Kenyans to rest of the world whose main is to create a platform for free speech, forever. It gained recognition when Nyakundi recommended it on his telegram channel at the start of the month and it has been fast growing.

Nyakundi said that hardly a month goes without a white journalist seeking for information from him, for free. That is disrespectful, so he now promises no free stories for western journalists who must recognise it as ‘consultancy’ and pay the dues.

Western reporters pretend to be doing good jobs not only when they cover stories that embarrass Africa, No, now they are shifting from that to sitting in couches and ‘googling’.

“They just live in expensive apartments ‘researching and reporting. Wow!” Nyakundi added.

Many western journalists have been accused of trashing the source of some the stories they report about Africa. Nyakundi stopped responding to responding emails that don’t begin by asking how much he charges.

“That is consultancy. Imagine, you a Kenyan going for instance to the UK to research on a topic, I am sure you will pay thousands to millions of pounds,” Nyakundi wrote.

The Kenyan top blogger emphasized that the same should apply here as people like him go through hell to gain trust and credibility from Kenyans so NO FREE CAKE.
