Kasarani resident has been shot 7 times by thieves at an M-PESA shop as he was trying to stop the robbery.
The incident is recorded by a security camera installed in the shop. It sees the man entering the shop in what seems to be a cash deposit.
Two more men approach the shop and wait for a few moments before pulling out their guns at the shopkeeper and the customer.
One of the thugs is seen to be taunting the shopkeeper at gunpoint and threatens to pull the trigger. This is when the Kasarani resident decides to hit one of the thugs in the head.
Things, however, get messy as the thug retaliates by shooting at the man who makes an escape once the bullets start flying.
Another camera angle shows the shopkeeper screaming when one of the robbers pulls out a gun. It is observed that the shopkeeper doesn’t move after the bullets start flying.
Reports suggest that the man is currently at Kenyatta National Hospital with 7 bullets in his body.
