Centum Real Estate (Centum Re) was recently named as the top fastest-growing company to watch in 2024.
Centum Real Estate, East Africa’s largest real estate developer, builds model cities and luxury green gated communities in Kenya and Uganda. The company, a subsidiary of Centum Investment Company Plc, has assets worth over KES 40 billion, over 8,000 acres of land, and plans to build over 10,000 homes.
They offer a one-stop shop for home buyers and investors from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and the US. Centum Real Estate has been recognized globally for its contributions to the real estate market in Africa.
In April 2024, Biztech Outlook named them the top fastest-growing company to watch. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) also recognized Centum Real Estate as the EDGE Champion for Africa 2023 for its green building practices. Additionally, the International Business Magazine awarded them titles such as Real Estate Developer of the Year and Most Sustainable Real Estate Development in Kenya 2023.
This success is driven by the high demand for quality housing in East Africa, along with rapid urbanization, population growth, a growing middle class, and government housing policies.
