The High Court has ordered the retrial of Rugby players Alex Mahaga Olaba and Frank Wanyama who were sentenced to 15 years in prison each after they were found guilty of raping a woman in 2018 after the Duo appealed against the sentencing
The former Kenyan international rugby players were been found guilty of gang rape charges following the verdict delivered on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at a Nairobi court.
The former rugby sevens players were accused of gang-raping a woman, identified as W.A, on February 11, 2018 at Seefar apartment in Highrise.
The woman told the court that she was raped overnight on her birthday, February 10.
The victim, a singer, became pregnant after the ordeal.
