The daughter to former Moi billionaire fixer the late Mark Too, Ex-model Emma Too has revealed that she is among residents at the center of vocal complaints against a noisy establishment in Kileleshwa.
This was in April, how long must I complain for this to be legit? Are my rights not rights to be considered by the licensing agencies or County Government? Why must I rant for one whole year? Then be gaslighted by my tormentors in public?! The real question is do they deny it? https://t.co/oVK2vnjpxm

According to the Director of Liquor Licensing Hesbon M Angwena, complaints were raised by the residents and members of the general public regarding the noise from 43 clubs.
“The complaints have also been received by the County Environment Compliance and Enforcement officers and despite arrests and arraignment in court, the proprietors have refused to comply and continue to contravene the stipulated licensing condition,” Mr Angwena said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Nairobi County Deputy Governor Njoroge Muchiri held a meeting with the owners of the clubs and restaurants and agreed on terms to be followed.
The Muchiri asked the club owners to adhere to the regulations that have been set, failure to which the entertainment joints will be closed.
During the meeting, Bar Owners’ Association led by their chairman Mike Muthamia called on the review of the county liquor licensing, and alcoholic laws, saying the current regulations are outdated.
The chairman also called for a peaceful co-existence between residents and business owners.
“We are ready to self-regulate under the guide of the county government, we also need to have residence association included in the sub-county liquor licensing committee.,” Muthamia said.
