ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru is on the spot for re-appointing a dead man to Kenya Film Classification Board.
Through a gazette notice, Mr. Mucheru re-appointed Robert Kochalle, extending his term for another three years. Kochalle was a member of KFCB board who passed on May 29th 2018 at the Agha Khan Hospital.
Mucheru’s moved stirred a heated debate with social media using demanding to know how a dead man would be re-appointed.
KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua defended Mucheru saying that that was a small issue being blown out of proportion yet it is not Mucheru’s fault.
