Details as Raila and Kalonzo’s Pension Reviewed

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s pension have been reviewed upwards.

Gov will raise Raila and Kalonzo’s pension perks while reviewing downwards DP William Ruto’s allocation by Ksh1.4 million.

Raila and Kalonzo have been allocated KSh200 million each in gratuities on top of the KSh594 million allocated to the duo in the current financial year.

MPs have been asked to approve for Raila Odinga:

1. KSh1.2 million for water and electricity.
2. KSh1.2 million for communication services
3. KSh4.8 million for domestic travel and subsistence.
4. KSh10 million for rent.
5. KSh4.1 million for hospitality.
6. KSh1.5 million for routine maintenance.
7. KSh2.5 million for fuel.
8. KSh15 million for purchase of vehicles.
9. KSh75,000 for printing, advertising et al.

Kalonzo Musyoka walks away with:

1. KSh1.4 million for utilities
2. KSh1.5 million for communication services.
3. KSh6.5 million for domestic travel, subsistence.
4. KSh10 million for rent.
5. KSh5.5 million for hospitality.
6. KSh1.5 million for office supplies.
7. KSh2.5 million for fuel.
8. KSh1.5 million for routine maintenance.
9. KSh5.1 million for purchase of vehicles.
10. KSh150,000 for meeting training expenses
