For believers, there is a biblical story that the Lord sent Jonah son of Amittai to the great city of Nineveh but Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish.
He boarded a ship at Joppa that sailed for Tarshish, then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, a violent storm which threatened to break up the ship. All the sailors were afraid and they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.
Then the sailors cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah. The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
“Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard,
If deputy president William Ruto is the problem in Jubilee government why can’t they throw him out then? Practically, President Uhuru has no constitutional powers nor physical courage to sack Ruto.
Ruto is not the vice president but the Deputy President, he can only be sacked or replaced as deputy party leader. Ruto’s removal can only be possible through an impeachment
Since the Kieleweke team hands to subvert the constitution on this issue have been tied, the Jubilee administration has resorted to some unpopular orthodox methods to intimidate his foot soldiers and frustrate him.
They seem, at least for now, working because no one has the courage that is needed to throw him out into the sea.
There is no time to call it quits. I mean, this is like a complex case of till death do us part marriage in which it’s the parents, in this case–Uhuru and Ruto– and the children( I don’t know if its Kenyans or the constitution) holding the couples who otherwise don’t share beds together
Ruto has reached his elastic limits, its now liwe liwalo and he is prepared for any eventuality, he is prepared to walk away, given that this torments didn’t come as a surprise but rather he saw the signs, he was prepared and had an exit plan, “Throw me out” just like Jonah?
Ruto is asking to be thrown out of jubilee and Government. He wants or has been left with deputyship where he will lack salary, allowances, title, office, authority and mandate so that the fish of politics outside Government can swallow him
But Uhuru handlers know Ruto is amorphous, complex and master tactician throwing him into the sea may be counter-productive, the best way to deal with him is to frustrate him internally cutting off his appendages one by one.
Ruto mistakenly trusts in the Lord like Jonah. He quotes the Lord God in his every statement and so being thrown into the sea and getting swallowed inside the fish for the 3 days. I mean 2 remaining years will land him to God’s decisive land of his political Nineveh.
Today I want to reiterate the words of COTU Boss Francis Atwoli. He said, “Ruto will never be on the ballot”. Why? Will he be killed?
No one knows Ruto better than Atwoli with whom they shared days in KANU. At one time, Uhuru and Raila were warned of this man. The simple advice to Uhuru and Raila was “do everything under the sun to stop this man on time or perish, the grandson of Koitalel is not the kind of guy you will steal his votes and ask to negotiate, he is a go-getter”

I am not a political analyst, so spare me your cuss, but ODM is in deep shit. Gatundu South MP while warning Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina about the Kedong Ranch mess, he said Raila OWNS an INTEREST in ODM, he DOESN’T care about the PARTY.
BBI had RAO’s INTEREST too. Don’t ask me which one! But since he did have plan B then it’s high time he took on plan C. And since the Professor in the famous MONEY HEIST TV series names every plan. I’d name RAO’s Plan C as The Evils Wall.
The Evils Wall would require him to jump to the other side. Politics has no enemies, just Interestsmen at the pitch. Plan C is to reach out to Ruto and stop Musalia Mudavadi( and his friends) and Gideon Moi(and his fellow Dynasty Families) from celebrating the fruits of his own efforts.
All these frustrations are making Ruto strong. If he is sponsoring them, he qualifies to be a Professor of politics. If he’s not, whoever is against him is a terrible loser.
Methinks that if Ruto survives these delicate onslaughts on him and his pillars and reach the ballot 2022 believe you me he will be the 5th president of the Republic of Kenya. Take that to the nearest bank and wait for interest
