Emotions run high as another Somali national businessman has been murdered away from home, few days after the slain Somali-American businessman Mohamed Bashir was murdered by anonymous people in Kenya.

Inside sources privy to the information on Monday 24 May revealed that the Somali National Abdihakim Higis was gunned down by his South African wife in the city of Johannesburg.

Somalia’s main media house also reported that Abdihakim Higis’ family and friends confirmed his mysterious death.

It is still not clear why the wife decided to shoot her husband died before she surrendered to the police.

“Abdihakim Higis, a Somali National, was shot dead in Johannesburg by his South African wife on Monday, his family and friends reported. The woman who committed the murder surrendered to the police, according to witnesses,” the source privy to the information stated.

Abdihakim Higis is the second Somali national to be killed away from their home country after another businessman, Mohamed Bashir was brutally murdered by unknown people in Kenya.

Police officers have currently launched an investigation regarding the murder of Mohamed Bashir Mohamoud’s after a post-mortem report indicated he was tortured before being strangled to death.
