Kenyan female artiste Wavinya Williams has revealed that it is not easy being in the Kenyan music industry adding that she has had to fight twice as hard.
The Kenyan lass who is riding high with her ‘Nakudai’ hit says hard work has enabled her to reach where she is today .
‘Being a woman in this female industry is tough.
There is a day I was asked for a sexual favor.
I turned down the offer in return they refused to give me an interview or even play my music.

She adds
despite that incident I believe God’s time is the best.
My fans have been very supportive I am loving the way they have responded to my new jam ‘Nakudai’.
They have motivated me to release something else for them.

Wavinya goes on to add that being young and beautiful has not been a bed of roses.
A man from my social media offered me Ksh 100,000 just so that he could take me to bed.
I turned his offer down because I love being independent.
She adds
there is something sweet about working for your own money.
If I want to go buy myself something I will do exactly that because I have worked for my money.

In conclusion Wavinya strongly states that her father has been her biggest support
‘I was shocked when my father recently asked ‘I heard you have a new song can I listen to it?’.
I gave him the video but I was a bit ’embarrassed’.
He however assured me of his support adding that I should never be embarrassed of what it is that I am passionate about.
For that I am forever grateful.
