A number of female legislators in Kenya have found love during their tenure in office.
And when their big day comes, all eyes are on them, with people eager to have a glimpse of their bridal themes and also to know more about the lucky men.
Some have chosen to do traditional weddings with others going all white. For others, they guard their unions by choosing to hold private weddings.

Here are some politicians who got married during their tenure in office;
Anne Waiguru
The Kirinyaga Governor treated Kenyans to a magnificent Kikuyu traditional wedding in July 2019 when she got married to her lover, Kamotho Waiganjo.
It was a brown-attire affair when the two exchanged vows during an invites only ceremony at the Kiamugumo primary school.
The wedding was attended by top politicians including President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Susan Kihika
Nakuru Senator tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and businessman Sam Mburu in 2020.
The traditional ceremony held at the Kihika’s family ranch in Marmanet (Nyahururu), was graced by Deputy President William Ruto.
Kihika, a mother of two met her husband during one of the campaign trails in 2017.
The bridal team rocked golden dresses with the groom and his friends donning cream, with a touch of golden prints.

Neisula Lesuda
After a traditional wedding at Lesuda’s home in Samburu, she walked down the aisle with her husband Robert Kiplagat in November 2018.
Dressed in a white gown with a touch of Gold, she exchanged vows at the ACK St. Phillips Lesirai in Samburu.
The Samburu West MP married her long-time lover and they have been blessed with one baby.
