Central Organisation of Trade Unions Secretary-General Francis Atwoli’s father-in-law has died.
The COTU boss’ wife Mary Kilobi confirmed the death of her father on Sunday, March 29 which happened barely five months after her older brother’s demise.
In an emotive message on Facebook, the news anchor mourned her father as her support system who was always proud of her.
“You were my support system Papa, my number 1 fan. I’ve always been papa’s girl. You were so proud of me and you talked abt me to everyone who cared to listen,” Kilobi wrote.
She further stated her dad had a hard time accepting the death of her brother, Emmanuel Weyusia who was shot dead on October 9.
The TV siren also eulogised her beloved dad as a man who loved his children who was always with them in every step of the way.
“You Loved your children so much and always told us to follow our hearts. The entire extended family, clan Community and church will miss your wisdom Man of God,” she said.
She further bid him farewell and thanked him for waiting for her to say goodbye before he permanently closed his eyes.
“We are so down Papa. Thank you for waiting for me to say Goodbye. We miss you already. We love you and forever in our hearts. Say a big Hello to big Bro Marsh,” Atwoli’s wife wrote.
