A reliable source on the ground has sent Kenyan Bulletin a video proof that the Special Forces have deployed scorched-earth policy in Wajir County.
A scorched-earth policy is a military tactic of eliminating anything useful that might be used by the enemy, and Wajir County residents are feeling the heat and hits.
“This is an earth and scorch action by security officers in a place between Konton and Khorof Harar where 9 Somali huts were burnt with sheltered animals being consumed too. This is a criminal activity that had been going on for about three years now with hundreds of children becoming orphans. Unfortunately the leadership are mum about it. Allah will eventually establish justice.” a source stated.

This is the effects from the response of Kenyan forces after a flopped attack on their camps last month.
Last week, in a shocking incident in the same Konton Area in Wajir County, an Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) that had been set up by al Shabaab terrorists hit and killed two curious hyenas.
Konton area in Wajir County, is near the Kenya-Somalia border where the terror group and their sympathisers roam freely targeting security agents and government officials.
Police said it was by the grace of God the hyenas were killed instead of them. Hyenas are common in the area and they often roam there searching for food.
The explosive had been set on the road to target the security personnel who were passing there.
North Eastern regional police boss Rono Bunei said no arrest was made but added they had deployed more personnel there to ensure stability and safety for all.
“We continue to urge cooperation from the locals to help us tame this madness. No one can explain how these bombs are set on the roads without the knowledge of locals,” said Bunei.
Special Forces are among personnel who have been sent to the vast area to hunt down the al Shabaab militants behind the trend.
The forces last Sunday killed two suspected al Shabaab militants and captured three others in a clash.
