Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has for the first time spoken about his family since he was appointed to head the docket.
The tough CS who has always kept his family away from the media confirmed that young rapper Kahush is indeed his son.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV, the CS said Kahush is his last born son adding that his full name is Kahumburu.
“Yes, I know Kahush. He is actually my youngest son. His official name is actually Kahumburu. Somewhere along the line, Kahumburu became Kahush,” said Kagwe.
According to Kagwe, the talented rapper is a first-year student at the University of Nottingham in the UK.
The CS’s also disclosed he is a fan of his son’s music and admitted that he is a very good rapper.
“Kahush is a first-year student at the University of Nottingham in the UK. He is also a rapper and a good one too. I listen to his music a lot like and the most common is Mi Siwezi,” said the proud dad.
Asked about how he has let his children lead their lives freely, the CS said that every person has their dreams and his children are not bound to follow his path.
“I think that every person’s life is different. The life that I lead is not the one that my father did. Therefore, I think that my children are going to have their own lives also. You use whatever talent that God has gifted to you,” added the CS.
Speaking about his extended family, Kagwe revealed that they are blessed with people who are talented differently among them are musicians.
He also confirmed that Kenyan singer, Kagwe Mungai, is his nephew.
“In our family, we have got people who are musicians. I mean Kahush is one of them and Kagwe Mungai my nephew,” added the CS.
Meanwhile, Kahush went viral after the release of the hit song Mi Siwezi and people speculated he could be related to the Health CS.
During an interview with a local media station, the talented rapper revealed that he was indeed related to Kagwe although many people thought he was looking for clout.
