Comedian and content producer David Oyando popular known as Mulamwa celebrated his 28th birthday over the weekend.
In a phone call with k24 digital, Mulawa’s class teacher from high school revealed that the comedian was an A student back in the day.
While wishing her former student a happy birthday, Salyne Nabangi, said she expected the content producer to pursue a career in the sciences.
“He was a very bright boy who always scored As. In fact, he was index three during the year his class sat for KCSE,” the class teacher who is now a school principal at a Immaculate Conception Girls Secondary School in Kitale said.
The class teacher further told k24 digital that Mulamwa used to calculate mathematical sums while she teaching CRE in class.
“We really struggled to make him pass CRE and Kiswahili. Those were the only subjects that proved difficult for him,” the teacher said.
Although the teacher said she is happy with the great strides the comedian is making in the entertainment industry, she still couldn’t come to terms with why Mulamwa settled for a career in entertainment.
“As teachers, we expected him to be a scientist. He was an active member of science congress and when he saw him acting in videos we were really shocked,” Mulamwa’s class teacher added.
