Barely a day after raiding Raila Odinga camp in preparing his team ahead of the 2022 polls, Deputy President William Ruto has yet again revealed details of his meeting with Kenyans in the diaspora.
In his
strings of tweets, the DP said that the meeting opened up avenues for them to
have a grand plan of making Kenya a great Country for all.
The Second
in command also acknowledged their economic and intellectual contribution to
the growth of the country, adding that he will have a platform for everyone to
join in the meeting next time.

Dr Ruto
further leaked that Kenyans from different parts of the world pledged to push
for a shift in the Country’s politics
issue-based policies and programmes
in the next meeting.
“We recognize the critical and huge contribution — both
economically and intellectually — that Kenyans in the Diaspora make in the
development of our country.
On this account, we have
begun a clear, inclusive and structured engagement with them to concretize and
prosecute our broad and solid plans that will make Kenya a better and fairer
country for everyone. We will open a platform for everyone in the diaspora to
join the conversation.
Held a virtual conversation with Kenyans in the Diaspora drawn from across the world; undertook to advance the deliberation to configure our politics to issues, policies and programmes,” said William Ruto.

Ruto has been
meeting Kenyans from different sectors and tiers in the Country and beyond while marshalling his troops to replace president Uhuru
Kenyatta in 2022.
He recently met the
creatives at his Karen home in an attempt to strike a balance on cushioning them
due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The DP also raided Odinga
and former President Kibaki’s teams in assembling his 2022 statehouse bound team,
with economist David Ndii a fierce government critic offered top job.
“DP Ruto has reached out to
me and Prof Ndung’u to assemble a team of leading brains especially in the
economic field. I am always ready to assist on the same. The experts will be
from various fields”.Said Ndii.
