Inside Raila’s fantasy to topple Kenya Kwanza government

Fresh details have emerged of how opposition leader Raila Odinga and his allies in Azimio La Umoja Coalition are scheming to force President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua to flee the country.

Odinga is thinking of a messy Sri Lanka kind of coup which toppled President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in 2022. He has begun executing his plot by holding a series of rallies to incite his supporters and members of the dynasty not to pay tax.

The Azimio outfit has also planned to hold two to three demonstrations every week to build up the momentum and psych his supporter to disobey the government of President Ruto.

He plans to lead demonstrations at Nairobi’s central business district as an attempt to take control of the country’s capital before trickling down to other towns like Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Kakamega.

Azimio’s plan is to instill fear among the business community and investors to make it impossible for Kenya Kwanza leaders to implement their manifesto. The plotters of the archaic plan believe that the so called dynasties whose plan to install Odinga as president in 2022 failed, will come in handy to rescue them.

President Ruto has revealed that the tycoons who were evading taxes during the reign of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta are funding Azimio rallies to cause chaos and make the country ungovernable.

A section of Odinga supporters are also not happy with the fact that president leaning to West unlike Uhuru who was kneeling to the Chinese during his tenure.

The rallies are only being used to being used to raise political temperatures and ignite people’s tempter against the government of President Ruto.

Odinga has repeatedly said that he does not recognize Ruto’s presidency, claiming that the current regime was rigged in by America.

He is planning to hold demos in Nairobi on Madaraka Day and call Azimio supporters to adopt the ‘Ruto Must Go’ clarion as the president will be leading the celebrations in Embu County.

His script is not different from what happened in Sri Lanka where mass protests led to the ouster of Rajapaksa over harsh economic crisis that led to severe inflation, daily black outs, fuel and gas shortages.

Odinga who has failed to clinch presidency on six attempts is hoping that President Ruto and his deputy will also be forced to flee the country and create vacancy at State House for him to occupy.

But Ruto is not bothered by Odinga threats and same old script. In fact he has accused him and his Azimio affiliates of planning to abduct and kill the former IEBC Wafula Chebukati meaning he can easily arrest and prosecute him if he wants to.
