Police in Kajiado has arrested a 33-year old man alleged to have killed his wife during a domestic dispute.
Renald Kamerima is accused of murdering his wife of two years Cynthia Chesang Chepkuto,33 at their home in Dumpsite estate in Kajiado town on Friday night.
According to neighbors, the couple has often been embroiled in domestic disputes and they heard screams coming from their house last night.

When they did not see Chepkuto in the morning, they got suspicious and peeped through the window as Kamerima had locked the door from outside and left very early on Saturday morning.
Kajiado Central Sub-county commander Saudi Loronyokwe confirmed the incident adding the suspect fled the scene but his officers managed to track and arrest him in his hide-out.
“Upon opening the house, we found the deceased body wrapped in a bedsheet lying on the floor. It had visible injuries on the left side of the ear and the back of the head” said Loronyokwe.

The Sub-county police commander expressed his concern over the rising cases of death in the country as a result of domestic violence and called on Kenyans to find other ways of solving domestic issues.
The suspect, a government driver attached to the Children’s department is being held at the Kajiado police station awaiting to be arraigned in court on Monday to answer to murder charges.
The body of Chepkuto was moved to the Kajiado County Referral hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
