KDF warns against corruption in the announced recruitments

The government has woarned against corruption in the recruitment of military officers scheduled for November and December.

The ministry of defence will recruit general duty recruits, general service officers, defence forces constables, and tradesmen and women into Kenya Defence Forces.

The ministry has warned all persons interested in the recruitments to avoid presentation of fake documents and engaging in corrupt practices or else they risk arrest and prosecution.

KDF is looking for lawyers, public health officers, dentists, medical officers, cyber security officers, statistics managers, quantity surveyors, finance officers and physical training officers.

Dock masters, oceanographers, catering officers, librarians and counselling psychologists are also needed.

On top of academic qualifications, these special officers must also posses qualifications and where necessary they must registered with the relevant statutory bodies.
