The Kenyan government has extended the nationwide curfew for 60 more days as part of the measures to combat COVID-19.
Through a gazette notice on Sunday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i said the curfew will run from 10 pm to 4 am across the country.
“This order shall apply during the hours of darkness between ten o’clock in the evening and four o’clock in the morning with effect from the 28th of May 2021 and shall remain in effect for a period of sixty days thereof,” reads the gazette notice.
