Trending on the interwebs is a section of Mathare village residents in Maragua Murang’a who were pictured wearing women underwear cut out to look like face masks.
According to CitizenTv the residents were attracted into buying the masks due to the low price “A flimsy mask of that nature costs a paltry Ksh.20 with residents saying they only realized they were wearing panties long after they had bought the masks.”
The residents bought the masks after learning the hefty repercussions that would follow if the new directive to wear masks in public spaces by the government would attract
Kenyans on the Internet can’t fathom how the residents could be that naive and have faulted the government for not providing the right masks to the people.
