Kiambu bishop steals man’s wife 26 years after uniting them in church wedding
Joseph Kanyua

A local Bishop ministering at Joy Springs Church in Juja Farm, Kiambu county, has been accused of stealing a man’s wife.

The man is identified as John Kanyua who is a businessman from Juja Farm, Kiambu County. He is not a happy man after his local bishop took his wife from him with whom they have been married for 26 years.

The bishop in question was the one who presided over Kanyua and his wife Leah Wambui’s wedding.

Kanyua has only been left to wonder why the bishop could commit such ungodly act after uniting them in Holy matrimony.

It all begun when the bishop fronted Leah to become an assistant pastor at the church(  Joy Springs Church in Juja Farm), where they used to attend church services.

However, Agnes Wangivi, the pastor’s wife, strongly objected to the appointment but later gave in.

“I confronted Leah and threatened her not to play games with my husband. She looked innocent, and I gave in,” Agnes narrated.

She continued to narrate that at times, her husband would invite Mrs. Leah over for dinner without Kanyua, her spouse. This also raised questions and suspicions about the relationship between the bishop and Leah.

“This is when I started questioning their friendship. I confronted Kanyua to keep his wife away from my husband, but he seemed blindfolded. My husband developed cold feet on his family and ran away to Leah in 2015,” she revealed.

Kanyua came to notice the indiscreet and forbidden relationship matters got out hands. He revealed that the bishop would visit his house in the morning and spend the entire day locked with his wife inside the house.

It was then that poor Kanyua new that Leah was no longer his wife but bishop’s lover and perhaps the second wife to be.

Kanyua asked the government to intervene and look into the matter since he wasn’t ready to lose his family.

“This is unacceptable and I wouldn’t sit back and watch someone take my family. If the government does not intervene, I will choose my ways,” he stated.

“It has taken me a lot to grow the family all those years. I will not allow the wedding to continue. I can also seek legal redress,” Kanyua remarked.

The current happenings in our churches only show how rotten and filth harboring within the spiritual leaders.
