Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has insisted President Uhuru Kenyatta wants to prolong his stay in power using the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI)
The vocal lawmaker, a fierce critic of the head of state claimed the president intends to introduce communism in Kenya ahead of the 2022 General Election.
Speaking at the burial of three people who were killed in a clash with the police in Lessos, Nandi, on Thursday, July 2, Ngunjiri alleged Uhuru was out to clip William Ruto’s presidential bid.
“Uhuru should not cheat you he wants nothing in the next election. He wants to introduce communism and just like in South Africa create a more powerful position than the presidency
“The president is not satisfied with the nearly two terms he has served..with Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi here we do not mince our words..we shoot straight at the hip..I have lived long enough and I do not fear death by telling the truth..,”said a bitter Ngunjiri.
The MP said Uhuru would not have been president were it not for the DP who campaigned vigorously to ensure he ascended to the top seat.
“Were it not for Ruto, Uhuru would be nowhere..Kalenjins have stood with him since 2002 and as such he should return the favour..But even if he does not want to do so..he can take all his assets but spare his life,”Ngunjiri added.
