Leaders Mourn City Tycoon Chris Kirubi

City Tycoon Chris Kirubi has fallen.

The reports about his death were announced by his close family members.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Christopher J. Kirubi (1941-2021) who passed away today, Monday the 14th of June, 2021 at 1pm at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Said the family, in a statement.

The prominent businessman who also doubles up as the chairman of Capital Limited Group have been suffering from cancer of the Colon, a disease that he was diagnosed with in 2017.

My Cancer was discovered by mistake.

Kirubi stated, when he first spoke about his fight against cancer.

Colon Cancer affects older adults though it is a disease that can happen at any age. Dr. Kirubi after being diagnosed flew out of the country to USA where he spent months in hospitals.

Before his death, Chris Kirubi had taken to twitter and penned down a message to Netizens.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has mourned Chris Kirubi as a seasoned entrepreneur who founded and successfully ran some of the largest corporations in Kenya.

Chris Kirubi was my friend and one to many others and a mentor to even more. He was a dedicated entrepreneur and philanthropist who helped scores of Kenyans over time.My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace Chris
