Learners at Timboiywo Primary School in Baringo Central Sub County will soon study in improved surroundings, after M-PESA Foundation launched a Ksh 40 million construction project.

The plan covers classroom upgrades for students in Grades 1 through 9, a new Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) unit, and a science lab equipped for hands-on lessons.
This setup will help the school handle a growing number of pupils.
M-PESA Foundation Chairman Joseph Ogutu said the group’s education work supports better futures, and that they are teaming up with local government and the Ministry of Education to make public learning spaces more suitable for children.
The school will also gain new restrooms for both learners and staff, aimed at raising health and hygiene standards on the compound.
Similar projects have been done in Baringo, such as work at Marram Primary School, which received upgrades earlier this year, and Claude Academy, which got a resource centre last December.
Other schools reached in past efforts are Kapropita Girls, Sirwa Primary and Mogotio Primary.
