Fiery and outspoken barrister Miguna Miguna says he is aware of numerous hidden ‘wives’ belonging to the country’s Catholic chief cleric Cardinal John Njue
The exiled lawyer was commenting on the passing of Retired Archbishop Ndingi Mwana a’Nzeki who died on Tuesday.
Bishop Ndingi died out of a long unidentified illness as confirmed by the church’s top leadership.
He died aged 88 years.
Miguna joined many others who condoled with the late’s family and the whole Catholic fraternity following the loss.
He however could not let it pass without igniting controversies, in this case alleging that the late Ndingi Mwana a’Nzeki was married to five wives and together had sired children, plus owning many grandchildren.
“Rest In Peace Ndingi Mwana a’Nzeki. The Pope should allow Catholic Priests to marry. I hope that Ndingi’s five wives will openly attend his funeral with their children and grandchildren. Integrity is vital,” Miguna said.
He further claimed that John Njue, Catholic’s Chief Priest, also owns a chain of wives who have been kept off the public eye, him (Njue) knowing that he (Miguna) knows his (Njue’s) wives and where they are based.
“Don’t ask me to table the evidence because they’re living citizens of the Republic of Kenya. Even Father John Njue knows that I know his wives, too. Hypocrisy, lies and deception cannot be kenya’s national culture. To be free and prosperous, we must live by Truth and Integrity,” he further added.
