Miguna’s warning followed Raila’s claim in Busia that President William Ruto did not win the August 9, 2022, presidential election.
“It is those people at the top who stole with the help of the electoral commission. The court legitimised the win and they are now buying MPs.
“We have come back to the people because the Constitution of Kenya says that Sovereignty in the Republic of Kenya rests with the people of Kenya and the people can practice it directly or through elected representatives,” Raila said.
He insisted that the question of who won the presidential poll was settled by the Supreme Court
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has cautioned Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga against tempting that which is beyond his control.
“Raila Odinga, I’ve been your advisor when you were the Prime Minister of the Republic. I take this opportunity to offer you one unsolicited piece of advice: Don’t tempt fate. The 2022 presidential election was settled by the Supreme Court after a hotly contested petition,” Miguna said on Sunday.
