Mount Kenya University founder Simon Gicharu has revealed that he bought the building where his job application was thrown out.
During the application, Gicharu said he was humiliated just like many other job seekers feel whenever their requests are dismissed by employers.
The successful educationist took to Twitter to announce his sweet revenge saying that he never gave up in life despite the humiliation and later on came back, not to seek a job again, but to buy the whole complex and make his own investment.
Gicharu had sought a teaching position at Kenya School of Professionals Studies but his application was thrown out by the management.
“Ever been told by a potential employer, “don’t call us, we will call you.” I have, severally. At the School of Professional Studies, where I sought a teaching position, I walked away crestfallen. Several years later, I went back and bought their building,” he Tweeted.
