Mizizi Africa Homes Chief Executive Officer, George Mburu has today handed a Sh 50,000 Cheque to KCSE 2021 top candidate, Robinson Wanjala Simiyu as a token of appreciation for raising the profile of Murangá High School.
On Monday, Education Cabinet Secretary, Prof. George Magoha announced Simuyu the best performing student after he scored A of 87.334.
Mr. Mburu, an alumni of Murangá High School, showed gratitude to Simiyu when the top student and his parents paid him a courtesy visit at Mizizi Africa Homes Offices in Westlands on Tuesday.
“I felt elated after receiving the good news. We are extremely proud of your exemplary performance and for raising the profile of my former school so high. You have shown us and the world that truly, putting God first,resilience and hard work pays,” said Mburu.
Murangá High School edged giants like Kenya High, Kapsabet Boys which emerged top the previous year and Alliance Boys to climb to the top of KCSE hall of fame.
He adds, “Defying COVID-19 impact to become top in the class of 2020, reflects and perfectly matches Mizizi Africa Home’s grit that has catapulted us from a promising low cost housing developer to the best low-cost housing developer in Kenya for the year 2020.”
Simiyu said, “I am deeply pleased and honoured to receive this gift of appreciation from Murangá High School Old boy. It sure gives me the zeal to put even more effort in furthering my knowledge and skills.”
Mr. Mburu wished the top candidate well in his future endeavours.
