Mutahi Ngunyi Defends Eric Omondi

Erick Omondi and heavy built men arrested for ptrotesting

Mutahi Ngunyi has come out to defend comedian Eric Omondi.

This is after Eric was arrested by police officers in Nairobi for organizing demonstrations.

He collected 17 heavily built men and led them to parliament where they asked to be addressed by speaker Moses Wetangula.

They blocked the road around parliament and vowed not to let go until the speaker addressed them. The comedian together with his team complained about the high cost of living that has left Kenyans suffering.

They were however all arrested and thrown into police cells for causing traffic congestion in the city.

They were released on a bond of 10,000 each.

A number of Kenyans criticized the comedian for his demonstrations as they said he was clout-chasing to entertain his fans.

Mutahi Ngunyi has however come out to defend the comedian for his confidence in fighting for the truth.

He said that Omondi is fighting an old system that has affected this nation for a long time.

He then said that Omondi is not fighting president William Ruto but a retired system.

“Revolutions attract the MOST unlikely leaders. Remember the lumpen who burnt himself to death and ignited the Arab SPRING collapse governments? Eric Omondi is not fighting Ruto. He is fighting an age-long system that is rotten from the core and to the core.” He said.
