Police officers have barred reporters from accessing the Anti-Corruption Court citing ‘orders from above’ for their action.
Reporters remained stranded outside the court buildings as they tried to access the area with some reports indicating that they were barred because they took a picture of the courts leaking roof and shared with the public.

DPP Noordin Haji approved charges against Muthomi on Friday, September 4, ordering his arrest and prosecution for the embezzlement of county resources and interfering with the tendering process at the county offices.
The DPP said investigators had established that tender was awarded to a company known as Westomaxx Investments Limited, that had presented fraudulent documents but there were six other firms that qualified for the job.
Muthomi was arraigned alonside Fridah Muthoni Murungi (Chief Officer Environment and Natural Resources), Floridah Kiende Nyigwah (Acting Director Procurement), Murithi Njue (Finance Officer) together with the proprietors of firms awarded the tenders in question.
