The pump price of Petrol has gone up by KSh 3.56 per litre while that of Diesel and Kerosene will remain unchanged beginning midnight of 15th May 2021 to 14th June 2021.
The latest figures from the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority(EPRA), the average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased by 0.57% from $ 491.50 per cubic metre in March 2021 to $ 488.69 per cubic metre last month.
Diesel decreased by 1.03% from $ 444.17 per cubic metre in March to $ 439.60 per cubic metre in April. That of kerosene rose by 2.01% from $ 421.90 per cubic metre to $ 430.40 cubic metre during the period under consideration.

The price of Murban crude oil lifted in April 2021 was $ 63.94 per barrel, a decline of 1.87% from $ 65.16 per barrel in March 2021.
Over the period, the mean monthly US$ to Kenya Shilling exchange rate appreciated by 1.63% from KSh 109.63 to KSh 107.84 per US$ in April 2021.
The new Petrol pump prices in Nairobi are KSh 126.37 per litre, while Diesel and Kerosene remain at KSh 107.66 and KSh 97.85 per litre.
In Mombasa, the Petrol price is KSh 123.95 per litre while that of Diesel and Kerosene remains constant at KSh 105.27 and KSh 95.46 per litre the April-May pump prices.
The price of Petrol per litre is KSh 125.98 in Nakuru, KSh 126.90 in Eldoret and KSh 126.90 in Kisumu.
The EPRA reviews prices monthly, based on Taxes and levies, Margins, Demurrage, Distribution Costs, and Landed Cost.
