Police in Kiambu have opened a probe into the robbery of a Church bell weighing over 500 kilograms. The huge bell made of copper was stolen from Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Ngecha, Kiambu County last week. Speaking to a local news outlet, the church organizing secretary-general James Warari said they are still trying to figure out how the robbers got access into the church and carried the heavy bell.
