Speaking in Kisii during the People’s Baraza Friday, Odinga has confirmed he is ready to take a bullet for Matiangi and he will defend him to the last minute.
He says in the recent scenes of alleged harassment of Dr.Matiangi he cooperated with Matiang’is lawyers and they were able to rescue him from the hands of the police officers.
“There were no court order or search warrant, they broke into Matiangi’s house as if he is a thief,” said Odinga.
Odinga noted he has severally received calls over Matiangi’s harassment by the police officers and he quickly responded without failing because the former Cabinet Secretary is not a criminal.
Odinga noted that who had robbed the country and their cases were in court, the cases were withdrawn and instead awarded jobs by the government.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said he will defend Matiangi up to the last minute and he will defend him in the court of law because Matiang’I is not a criminal.
“I will be the first one to defend Matiangi, he was not just a minister if you believe in equality, you should add him more security officers,” he stated.
Kalonzo stated that he is ready to stand with Matiangi until the last minute because he served the country well.
“With all Azimio leaders we are going to defend democracy and those who robed the counties are hanging around statehouse not to be arrested,” Musyoka said.
