Kenya’s most authoritative blog KenyanBullettin.com can now report that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) led by the new reformist George Kinoti has failed to embrace police reforms.
The DCI is now being controlled by outsiders. The outside is a drug dealer named Nurdin ‘Tinta’ Akasha.
According to Blogger Robert Alai, the drug dealer paid a few cops from DCI who then lured Nyakundi into the trap where he was arrested and allegations of extortion dumped on him.
It was not clear why the police would arrest Nyakundi yet the allegations of money laundering by Victoria Bank were not investigated.
Earlier on, Lawyer Miguna Miguna stated that both the bank executives and the purported extortionists should’ve been arrested.
It is clear now from the post by blogger Robert Alai, that the DCI are not acting on their own but using powerful cartels in the country to frustrate whistleblowers.
The blogger ended with a question to DCI and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
“Hey @ODPP_KE how is it that Uhuru is complaining of Judiciary’s incompetence when drug lords like Tinta Akasha are the ones now managing operations at @DCI_Kenya ? Who are we fooling? Wacheni ujinga”, Alai wrote.
