The Search for a man who allegedly drowned himself in Ngong River at the Soweto Embakasi Bridge is still ongoing.

Daniel Omondi reportedly threw himself in the river on Wednesday after an alleged frustrations over work.

Omondi who does jua kali works in kayole is said to have missed vibarua for several days which might have been the cause is actions.

According to the sister Ann Anyango, Omondi left behind a wife and two children but the family is yet to discuss the cause of the actions.

The search for Omondi’s body is being conducted by local divers, friends and family members.

The five day search is being hampered by the dirty sewer waters that have filled the river making visibility difficult.

The have urged NMS and Nairobi county to see how they can accommodate them and add their experience for them to continue helping Kenyans.

Residents have urged the government to consider putting rails or fence to avert future crises.
