A Posho mill attendant took his own life after allegedly losing Sh1000 from his daily routine.

For the fear of his bosses reactions, the 14-year-old man decided to take his own miserable life.

The 25-year-old posho mill attendant committed suicide for losing Ksh1000 belonging to his boss in Siaya.

George Owich Ochieng from Ulamba sub-location in West Gem ward is said to have lost the money on his way to buy diesel meant for a posho mill.

Assistant Chief of the area madam Pauline Apondi Okumu has confirmed the incident saying that the body was discovered hanging inside his father’s house that was locked from inside.

It is true we found him hanging on the roof and the door closed from inside,” the assistant chief told the source adding that the deceased had called the father informing him that he lost some money meant for fuel before his body was found lifeless.

Pauline added that upon realizing the loss, the deceased called his boss to inform him and that the boss told him to get back to the posho mill, but instead he rode his motorbike to his father’s house where he allegedly took his life.

The body has been taken to Rabuor mortuary.
