Unrest is looming at Mombasa County Headquarters after a woman who is believed to be Deputy governor William Kingi’s wife has turned the entire offices to her personal office as she demands to be addressed as the First Lady.
The lady who was termed as ruthless by employees working at the HQ offices, is said to be taking advantage of being the deputy governor’s wife going with the fact that Hassan Joho’s wife rarely appears in public.
And as expected, Kingi’s wife is mercilessly swindling Mombasa County’s money according to a source who revealed about a cleaning and garbage collection company which she unlawfully registered to use it as a channel to swindle funds from the county government.
The woman only identified as First Lady Kache is said to be always ready to rough up any county staff who might delay paying her company for the cleaning services offered.
Another source who opted to remain anonymous, revwaledw how Kache once unleashed war on county’s finance officers who delayed to pay her company for the cleaning services provided.
Kache reportedly caused a stir at the finance offices as she bragged about how her husband is well with the law saying that nothing can stop her from getting whatever she wants at the county.
The county employees surprised by the fact that Mombasa governor has been informed of the woman’s dirty and fraudulent deals said to be costing the county its reputation and lose of public money in millions of shillings and nothing has been done.
They seem worried as to how things will be in case the deputy governor, known to be aspiring to succeed Governor Joho in 2022 will succeed in his dream of being the head of the county with such a nuisance in his path.
