Yesternight, a homeless man who sleeps outside in makeshift shacks in Mathare was gunned down in cold blood by the Kenya police.
The ever rogue police service accused him of being outside past curfew houses, they judged him and executed him right there.
A few minutes after this happened, residents angered by the incident broke curfew rules, poured on the streets of Mathare asking for justice for Vaite, as he was known.
Today, Kenyans went to social media platform Twitter condemning the murder and calling on the government to arrest the policemen who murdered Vaite.
Here are some tweets we sampled:
The Kenya Police has killed so many innocent citizens and nothing is done to them. You wake up and all you hear is Officer so and so has been transferred after doing this and that. The Police are committing serious murders and aren't made accountable. pathetic! #JusticeForVaite

How do you kill a homeless man, a man who literally had nothing……Doesn't their conscience haunt them?
How foes it feel doing something you can't talk about with your wife at the dinner table?
But since it's a poor man's problem they'll only talk about BBI #JusticeForVaite pic.twitter.com/icWp6RGYtE

The Kenya Police have competed with the Covid-19 virus to kill Kenyans during the curfew and lockdown period.
