A Tiktoker dentified as Johnnie Jay has raised eyebrows after he posted a money printing machine churning out new and crisp Ksh 1000 notes.

A source in DCI revealed to Mpasho,

“We recovered a similar machine.”

Drama as arrested heroine peddler swallows sachets

The TikToker called Johnniejay32 with 563 followers posted the video recently on his profile page that has since gone private.

So far the video has over 20k views and has been shared over 100 times to various social media.

This comes at a time when detectives based in DCI Kilimani announced arresting two men after they were found in possession of fake currencies worth about Ksh700 million.

DCI described them as “a well coordinated, fake currency syndicate. The recovery of the fake currency, followed a report filed by a concerned member of the public.”

The men identified as Samuel Maina and Boniface Mungai were arrested from an apartment in Kilimani area where they had kept the fake papers in Kenyan, US and Euro denomination.

The money was kept in metal boxes.

DCI decribed the loot as a “total of 6.8Million fake US dollars, 490,000 fake Euros, and 6.4 Million Kenya Shillings was recovered stashed in metal boxes.”

Adding,

“Also recovered were jerrycans with an unknown liquid, DeLaRue branded badges and a seal, all suspected to be used in printing of the fake currencies. Assorted documents, customs reflector jackets, United Nations and National Treasury stickers were also confiscated.”
