Tributes are raining for former Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo who passed on on Monday evening.
The late Midiwo served as Gem MP for three Terms from 2002 to 2017.
Midiwo is remembered as a fearless MP and a great Debater.
Tributes have been poured across the political divide.

In his condolence message, President Uhuru Kenyatta eulogised the late Midiwo as a straight-shooting debater.
The Honourable Jakoyo was a straight-shooting debater on the floor of Parliament who became famous for witty anecdotes drawn from his interactions with his constituents and Kenyans across the country.
President Kenyatta said in a statement.
Deputy President William Ruto on his part remembered Midiwo as a vocal and dedicated figure who spoke his mind.
Mheshimiwa Jakoyo Midiwo was a vocal and dedicated figure who spoke his mind. He was outspoken, courageous and a tireless leader whose exceptional service to the people of Gem will be missed. Our commiserations to the family, their loved ones and the people of Siaya at this dark time. Rest In Peace, Mheshimiwa Midiwo.

Odm Leader Raila Odinga remembered him as an astute debater, a man of his word and one who had a rare ability to work across the aisle and got a long with members across the political divide.
Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot eulogised him as a guy who did not easily hold back on what he think about anyone including the mighty.
Nominated Senator Millecent Omanga remembered Jakoyo as one of the few leaders who would speak the truth whether it was to the Government or his acquaintances.
