Ex-Citizen TV anchor Jacque Maribe has finally confirmed comedian Eric Omondi as her baby daddy.
In an Instagram post, Ms Maribe shared a picture of herself, Eric and her son Zahari which she captioned saying that mom and dad were proud of him (Zahari).
“Family first. Happy graduation day Zahari. We, mum and dad @ericomondi are proud of you!!” she wrote.
The comedian also took to Instagram, where he shared the same picture without a caption. Omondi and Maribe had attended their son’s graduation ceremony.
For a long time, it was only rumoured that it was Eric who had fathered Zahari something they both have never talked about openly.
At one time, the comedian admitted to have dated the former news anchor but could not divulge further into details of their relationship.
Eric Omondi a few months ago raised eyebrows after he wrote a comforting message to Zahari, when the mother (Maribe) was arrested and remanded following the murder of business woman Monica Kimani.
Maribe’s then boyfriend Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu was the main suspect in murder, while the former screen siren was arrested for being accessory after her car was alleged to have been used by Jowie.
She was later on released on Bail.
