Tweet from DPP’s office senior official that might land Joe Mwangi in jail

Acrobat Wendy Waeni ex manager Joe Mwangu has landed into more trouble after he tweeted information regarding a child’s private and sexual life.

On Tuesday, Mwangi published multiple damaging tweets on the private sexual life of Waeni, who is a minor protected by numerous laws.

The tweets went viral but also drew a senior official in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions – Duncan Ondimu.

Ondimu, who is the DPP’s Principal Prosecution Counsel, warned Mwangi that he had stepped on dangerous territory by allegedly subjecting a minor to indecent exposure.

“You are stretching your luck too far!!! By you should be aware that indecent exposure of a minor is a very serious offence. Obstruction of an ongoing investigation is criminal,” Ondimu said in a tweet addressed to Mwangi.

The development came a few days after the DCI’s Child Protection Unit last week announced it had opened an investigation into Waeni’s case.

The teen gymnast had last Wednesday accused her former manager of denying her the money she had received from performances and from well wishers over the past five years.
